Eclipse was ok last night.

Eclipse was ok last night. A little too large for my tastes. I prefer the smaller more intimate parties. I got there and found out Chad, Amber, B, Phedra and a couple of their friends were trying to get in too. But I guess they got fake tickets or something. When me and Tali got to the door, they were there and Chad was pissed as all hell. They left and me and Tali went inside. Didn't take us long at all to get inside, but the gates they had put up to contain the crowd was littered with everything you could think of. Pop cans, beer bottles, cigarette butts, flyers, and get this, condoms. I guess someone was giving them out because there were quite a few on the ground. I didn't notice those at first, Tali had to bring those to my attention. By the time we got there most of this trash was mashed up into a pulp, pretty nasty. Once we actually got inside it the setup was pretty cool. One thing I like about this venue is the fact they have actual bathrooms! Unlike the line of Honey Buckets like Naf has. Oh, and one last rant, I still don't see how anyone can sell a single bottle of water for three bucks and not have a guilty conscious. -=sigh=- After a few hours of walking around looking for other people we knew we decided to groove a bit in the trance room. In this same room in the back off to the side was the chill out area. They had these black curtains up to kind of separate it from the rest of the area, and had lots of bean bag chairs in there. There were a bunch of people in there lying down talking, cuddling, giving massages, etc. Tali and I decided to take a load off and chill for a bit, she found a friend who's name I don't recall. They started chatting and I proceeded to just lay down and close my eyes and absorb the sweet tunes from Sandra Collin's set. Eventually this girl plops down next to me. I ask her if she would like me to move over a bit and make her some room. We started talking and well turns out she and her friends were from Puyallup too! Well, I think she said she used to live in Puyallup but now lives in Mt. Vernon. She was really nice, I just wish I remembered her name. I'm really bad with names. Oh yea, and back to the bean bag chairs. BAAAAAD IDEA! lol People were actually taking them out of the chill out room to who knows where. We found one in Jungle/DnB room that they had ripped open and people were rolling around in the little foam beads. Well, looked like they were having fun. Oh well... We got there at about 11:30, and left around 4:30. Not a bad 5 hours, and I got to spend some time with Tali, that was the coolest part of it. Tali did see a bunch of people she knew from other parties and one of them gave her a flyer for "Dreamcandee 2000" on Oct. 7. I might have to go to that... I don't get out enough...

And now for the rest of my Sunday, I planned on doing my front brakes. I went out and bought everything I needed yesterday, with the hopes of getting it all done today. Wouldn't of took long at all but the brake pads I got wouldn't fit! The freaking tabs wouldn't fit in the slots they were supposed to go in! ARGH! Oh and my car decided to bite me while I was taking the old pads off. -=PoP=- -=SLICE=- "Oooo, that's gonna hurt in a sec..." Sure enough, it did. Let me tell you, brake dust doesn't feel too good in cuts on your fingers. I was doing this over at Rachelle's(one of my roommates, Gary's GF) parents house, Brian(another of my roommates) was helping out a bit. After my finger got cut I decided I should probably wash it out, so I followed Brian back into the house, with him saying, "We have an injury..." as we walked in. Rachelle was very kind and bandaged my wound. Went back outside and put everything back together with the old pads and will have to go back to G.I. Joes and return the pads I bought and go somewhere else to see if they have pads that will fit. I am not going to go to the dealer because they quoted me about 180 dollars for just the front set of brake pads. 180 dollars!! WTF? How the hell are brake pads going to cost 180 dollars?? Tomorrow I'm going to call and find out.
